Couch potato stretchBeen a couch potato so long you’re sprouting roots? With minimal exertion, stretch your toes and exercise your often forgotten ankles. Notice how many cracking sounds you can make. Let your legs continue to rest on the sofa or coffee table. Pick one, and keeping it as still as possible, point out through your toes. Breathe normally as you feel the tightness move up into your calf and into your thigh. Now flex your ankle, stretching your toes back toward your body and pressing out through your heel. Remember to breathe and repeat several times at your own pace. Next, keeping your leg supported and still, slowly circle your ankle in one direction and then reverse the movement. Repeat with your other foot.
