Helps with discomfort from gas!

wind relieving stretchIf you ever have discomfort from gas, try this “wind relieving stretch.” It will also benefit your tummy, thighs and hip joints. You can do this stretch either on the floor or on the bed. Lying flat, let your body relax feeling yourself entirely supported from beneath. Bend your right knee up toward your chest. Interlace your fingers and grasp your bent leg about two inches below your knee. Check to see that your head is still resting on the floor or mattress and that your shoulders and toes are relaxed. Bring your elbows in close to your body, inhale deeply and as you exhale, lower your knee down to your chest. Continue breathing normally, inhaling and relaxing, exhaling and lowering. Release and repeat on the other side. Finish by bending both knees up to the chest. Depending upon your flexibility clasp either your hands around your legs two inches below your knees or your arms, hands grasping opposite elbows. Inhale and relax your chin and your head, exhale and lower your knees to your chest even more.
