Take a break from the computer screen!

Office desk stretchNeck stiff and back ache because you’ve been tilting your head up to get the right viewing angle for your computer screen? After making sure your screen and chair are positioned properly, try this effective neck stretch. Interlace your fingers and make a supportive cushioned collar for your head with your hands at the back of your neck. Inhale deeply and as you exhale, lower your chin to your chest, round your shoulders forward and bring your elbows toward one another. As you inhale, raise your head, open your elbows out to the sides and push your chest forward. Repeat several times, breathing deeply and moving slowly. Notice how your spine starts moving, too. Relax your eyes at the same time by closing them softly, and feel any release in the areas that were aching.
