During your massage
It’s your time to be pampered but before you turn over, stretch out your legs, firm your butt and strengthen your back all at the same time. Lying on your stomach, feet parallel, point the toes of your right foot and squeeze your butt to help protect your lower back. Keeping your hips flat on the table, inhale and raise your right leg slightly in the air, continuing to point out through your toes. Notice if your right knee is bent and invite it to straighten. Now shift your focus from lifting your leg to lengthening your leg, imagining you could touch the wall behind you with your toes. Breathing normally, use your breath to help you hold the stretch, taking in strength as you inhale and continuing to extend as you exhale. Hold briefly and then repeat on the other side.
